The Academy for Educational Development Conference Center is located in Northwest Washington, D.C. in the heart of the Dupont Circle neighborhood. Only four blocks from the Dupont Circle Metro station, and nestled in a neighborhood of tree-lined streets, diplomatic residences, restaurants, and art galleries
The AED Conference Center occupies the spacious 8th and 9th floors of the Academy for Educational Development complex. The versatile conference rooms, which consist of Academy Hall, 11 breakout rooms, and the Technology Center can accommodate groups from two to 325 people.
Offering an impressive range of meeting amenities, the AED Conference Center includes 13,000 square feet of dedicated meeting space and extensive audio-visual support, all designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas. Each of our rooms is wired for video-conferencing.
Our award-winning architectural design with wood paneling accents and an accessible raised stage lends itself to a suitable learning environment for the most demanding conference or seminar. The contemporary art theme found throughout the Conference Center is carried into Academy Hall for a tasteful decorative touch. The Hall is completely fitted with the latest technology and is well known for its extensive audio-visual support.
Four built-in, simultaneous translation booths with wireless headset receivers are available for use. A production studio complete with broadcast quality cameras and editing capabilities is offered as well.
