PM GIGS is proud to announce several nominations at the upcoming Western Canadian Music Awards: In the artistic category, Cara Luft received a nomination for Outstanding Roots Recording - Solo for her release "The Light Fantastic", released in 2007 and produced by Neil Osborne. Cara has been touring non-stop since the album's release on Canadian label Black Hen Music (also nominated for Independent Record Label of the Year). Her travels have taken her all across Canada and Europe, most recently just completing her first tour of the Netherlands and just played several Canadian Folk Festivals including Winnipeg, Island Folk Festival, and Lunenberg Folk Harbour Festival in Nova Scotia. PM GIGS is proud to represent Cara Luft exclusively in Canada. In the industry category, PM GIGS received their seventh consecutive nomination for Agency of the Year and Pat McGannon's second consecutive nomination for Talent Buyer of the Year. Founded in 2001, PM GIGS represents many artists based in Western Canada across a variety of styles and genres. "We appreciate being acknowledged by the WCMA again this year.," said McGannon.
