Event Safety, First Aid, & Medical Care

Event Safety offers basic life support with EMTs for low risk events or to help staff your first aid station. Although basic EMTs are the backbone of any emergency medical services system, additional resources are typically recommended for higher risk events such as motorsports, rodeos, and high risk concerts that include moshing etc.  EMTs are trained not only to provide great basic first aid but they have automated external defibrillators available and are trained in how best to access the local emergency medical system for the rare instances that something more serious occurs at your event.

Event Safety offers advanced life support with paramedics for higher risk events. Paramedics complement the basic EMTs at an event and significantly expand the scope of practice available at your event. Paramedics are allowed to provide advanced emergency airways, give numerous emergency medications, and start intravenous lines. Paramedic level care or higher is recommended for any high risk events such as motorsports, rodeos, and high risk concerts that include moshing etc.

Event Safety has a large pool of physicians available for your specialized event needs. Symons has numerous board certified emergency physicians with prehospital expertise that can assist with your event throughout the Western United States. Symons also has the following specialties available as needed: ENT specialists, orthopedic surgeons, vascular surgeons, pediatricians, internists, plastic surgeons, etc.

Event Safety offers both basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) ambulances for your event. Companies can  also offer 4x4 ambulances for off road events. Capabilities may vary depending on the state, county and other local regulations, however, an event safety company  is able to subcontract for these services in those areas where they aren't licensed to provide their own ambulances.

High risk events such as motorsports frequently requires personnel highly trained in Fire suppression, rescue and extrication. Symons Event Safety offers highly trained professionals capable of fire suppression, rescue and extrication in the unique motorsports environment. All fire safety personnel are compliant with the 2009 NFPA 610 standards for Safety at Motorsports Venues. Our fire safety personnel receive additional training in the unique aspects of providing services during live television broadcasts with their inherent time challenges. They also receive specialized training in how to deal with various head and neck restraint systems and other unique aspects of motorsports safety.
