History, Heroes and a Hometown Feeling!
Hold a historic meeting in our historic city! It was in Fayetteville that Babe Ruth hit his first professional homerun; the state of North Carolina ratified the U.S. Constitution; and where The University of North Carolina, America’s oldest university, was chartered.
Fayetteville is North Carolina’s largest city that is located just off I-95. The city’s proximity to Fort Bragg, the country’s largest military installation, impacts the area with a wonderful cultural diversity – from festivals to museums, to dining, shopping and entertainment.
Greater Fayetteville has many advantages meeting planners will find unique and attractive. This bustling city offers a range of event venues, including the multi-purpose Crown Center. This four-building complex has over 100,000 sq. ft. of tested, state of the art meeting space. This includes,
Crown Coliseum - 12,500-seats; 20,000-sq. ft. exhibit floor. The Crown Coliseum is connected to the Expo Center via 8,000 sq. ft. ballrooms. Expo Center - 60,000 sq. ft of unobstructed meeting space. Crown Arena -- 5,000 seats; 11,500 -sq feet of meeting space Crown Theater - 2400 seats Each building offers a range of configurations that are adjustable for any size event. A number of accommodations are located near the Crown Center, and a total of 5,000 hotel rooms at over 50 properties are located in the region. This includes four convention hotels with 65,000 sq. ft. of meeting space; and 11 hotels with meeting facilities.
Travel to Fayetteville is easy. Centrally located just off I-95, Fayetteville is exactly halfway between New York and Florida. Additionally, the Fayetteville regional airport is serviced by U.S. Air and Delta, with more than 15 flights daily. With an Amtrak station in the heart of downtown, the region may also be reach via train.
