Thanks to the educational reach of television, the only things some of us know about Ohio are that Cleveland rocks and that the fictional WKRP was in Cincinnati. That land seems to have been fertile for more than just good crops: Ohio spawned eight American presidents, giving the state the occasional nickname "The Mother of Presidents."
Today, Ohio is home to the world's largest Amish community, who still till the soils of the gentle eastern foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in the Buckeye State. Antiquing aficionados will love the Clay Belt in the eastern part of the state, home to some of America's most beloved glass and pottery makers, as well as a treasure trove of antiquing bargains.
