China is forever linked to its ancient civilization, friendly people, and many of the world’s most revered treasures, such as The Great Wall, Terra-Cotta Warriors & Horses and the Yangtze River. Today, one can also find spectacular architecture and towering skylines in Shanghai
and Beijing (site of the 2008 Summer Olympics), a wealth of luxury accommodations – and as always – exquisite cuisine.
Come and see why China is drawing millions of visitors from all over the world. And, why each and everyone of them returns home smiling :)
The China National Tourist Office (CNTO), United States, is an overseas office of the
China National Tourism Administration (CNTA), whose headquarter is in Beijing.
CNTA has 15 overseas tourist offices around the world including three in North America:

Its mission is to develop and promote all aspects of tourism to China within United States. It is responsible for educating both the general public and the travel industry about China, which is achieved through travel trade shows, consumer shows, seminars, familiarization trips and other ongoing promotions.
The CNTO in New York and Los Angeles assist travel agents and tour operators in selling China to Americans by providing them with sales tools, including travel brochures, videos, displays and other materials. The emerging meeting, incentive, convention and exhibition (MICE) segment has showed the potentials that tourist industry can tap. MICE has become an integral part of urban tourism in that it is lucrative in hard-currency earning and conducive to the development of relevant industries. The development of MICE has become one of the key indicators for measuring a city's international level
